Arty Popup

Posted by Maeve, 4 Sep, 2012 | 17 Comments »

Here at Enigma we’ve created a new plugin for WordPress. Use Arty Popup to create a designer popup with optional form integration.

This popup plugin has been created for designers and users who want to implement an attractive popup design of their own using an image, rather than using css to style a text based popup like many other popup plugins.

Download Arty Popup plugin or if you like the plugin please give it a rating. Thanks!

Free Popup Templates

Below you can preview and download a few templates to use with Arty Popup plugin. Feel free to use or modify as you wish. Be sure to check the readme file included in each package for implementation instructions.

Template 5 is showing 404 error. It’s missing. However, excellent plugin and superb template – please correct the link for Template 5. Thanks

Hello – Can you do a popup that has a link to a Facebook Like? Or something similar?

    Thanks

    • Maeve says:

I didn’t include a way to add a link so no, it’s not possible with the plugin ‘as is’. It wouldn’t be a hard functionality to add – it already can show html (ie the form field) so it would just be a matter of adding a field for linked image. But ultimately I created the plugin for a really specific purpose that didn’t seem catered for already in the plugin repository… I feel often it’s better to have a product that does 1 thing really well, rather than trying to make it do everything.

Started using your plugin. Not bad! Would like to get the contact form on my popup to appear under the picture (ideally I want a green border around the whole form too).

Also want to suggest a timer for the popup to deactivate automatically after a set date.

    Cheers

    • Maeve says:

Cool, glad you like it Porsche. You can add a contact form as part of the popup and style it using css in your theme. Download one of the examples with a form to see how it works.

Timer to deactivate the popup could be interesting… will keep it in mind for future versions.

Interesting approach you’ve taken for this plugin, Maeve.

After downloading one of the templates, I’m still a little confused as to how I’d put in my own email form code to add subscribers to my mailing list.

    Any help?

  5. Drew says:

Any way to adjust the pop up window size?

  6. Aileen says:

I am looking for a pop-up plugin much like what you are providing. Will there be an update for the current WP version? We are developing our new website using WordPress 3.8.1.

It would be great if we had the option of html or image. this popup is one of the better ones out but limited us to just a background image means that those of us who need a facebook widget for example can’t use it 🙁

  10. Good plugin, we have tried on one of our blog now installing on our website (Y)

Can the Enigma HTML5 jQuery Audio PRO player be put in a pop up like this? so that the audio player doesn’t have to open in a new page refresh?

Can I add extra custom input fields into it?
